Happy Saturday! It's that time of the month… I have my June 2023 Poland Pickup store post and the topic is Misheard Song Lyrics!

For the details – for all the photos shown – I usedVapid Lacquer Peel Off Base Commitment Issues,and for the glossy photos I used a combination of the top coats inclSweet and sour LacquerandCuticula Limitless Quick Dry Top Coat(I bought Sweet & Sour Lacquer, Cuticula was sent as a gift this month.) For all textured polishes, I usedGlisten & Glow Glitter Grabber(PR) and then one of the top coats mentioned above. For matte photos I usedAnchor & Heart Lacquer Sea Glass(bought from me but i make a sample for the manufacturer)
For my lighting setup I use artificial lighting because of my day job, my setup includes 2Neatfi XL bulbs from Amazon(affiliate link) as well as thisDaylight Company Duo Daylight lamp(affiliate link).
For my nails – it isApres Gel X nails this entire post, and the style is Extra Short Stiletto.

Inspiration:Inspired by the misheard lyrics from Rihanna's song "Only Girl (In The World)". She sings, "I want you to love me, like I'm a hot ride", yet some of us mistakenly "like I'm hot pie" and let's be honest – being loved like a warm pastry dessert would be pretty cool!

Inspiration:In my Cognitive Psychology class in college, I learned that unheard song lyrics have a formal term. “Mondegreen: the term for mispronounced song lyrics that create new words or meanings. Sylvia Wright coined the term in an essay for Harper's in 1954, recounting a frequent mishearing of a line from "The Bonny Earl O'Moray" she experienced as a child: "Laid him on the green," in her little ear, became 'Lady Mondegreen'.

This product contains ingredients that bind to the solvents in nail polish to help them evaporate faster, namely disiloxane. This is the ingredient that evaporates and binds with solvents faster than all silicones in drying products. Drying products that do not contain this ingredient will not dry your nails as quickly as Xpress Drying Spray. Baroness X also added camellia and jojoba oil to help hydrate skin and towels while drying.

Inspiration:Inspired by the band Blessthefall. While they have been known to include lyrics that sound like you misheard them, this was a mistake both Tim and I heard. For years.

Since the magnetic is a glow of large particles, it will not be as sharp as a line and will appear more diffuse. I only magnetized the middle and ring stud so you can see it from both sides.

Description:Glitter Grabber is applied after any glitter or flake dense manicure and is completely dry before top coat. It helps create a smoother surface for the top coat or matte top coat, while "grabbing" that extra texture.
It works by filling in all the nooks and crannies without "sinking" like top coat usually does.
Apply a layer of this and then top coat over it for a smooth finish.

Dancer' is often misheard in 'Hold Me Closer, Tony Danza'. This beautiful shade is based on one of Elton's iconic white leather jackets with 'angel wings' of feathers and leather straps. In 2019, Life Magazine featured Elton in this jacket on the front cover!

I have to put it at a distance and it's just not my favorite. This is a sweet scented scrub and you must love root beer. I like it, I don't like it - but my son picked it up FAST. He loves the scent.

Aroma of June: Freshly picked strawberries, cherries, peaches, lemons, blackberries and tangerines have a background of soft woods.
This is a very unique scent and hard to describe. It almost smells like a slightly more masculine scent and the soft woody scent washes out all the fruity notes. They are there, but more confused. It works, it smells good - but I was expecting a burst of fruit so I was rather surprised when that wasn't what I got. Still a great scent though and again - it's unique which makes me love it more.

Inspiration:Inspired by the Nirvana song Smells like Teen Spirit. "here we are now in a container" instead of "here we are now, entertain us".
Description:Acetone Antidote is an additive to your acetone to protect your skin from the harshness of acetone. Contains glycerin and jojoba oil to protect and moisturize nails, skin and cuticles during nail polish removal. Plus, no more ashy, dry skin! Just shake the bottle and pour it into your polish.
To get started – I suggest squeezing about 1/4 of the container into your acetone, mix and test it. Add more as needed. If you add too much, you might overdo it a bit, but it will still be usable. I personally use 1/2 a pot of Zoya Remove+ and it's perfect for me.
Hemp Flower – bright green fern and hemp notes unfold to reveal a rich floral accord of violet and gardenia. Note that this does not smell like real cannabis. it's a floral fragrance with a clean fresh slightly musky & earthy smell, complex and pleasant!
This doesn't smell like weed or anything - which I know some might think from the name. It's actually a clean, musky floral scent that's really pleasant.

Inspiration:I was about 3 years old and I started singing this song on the radio when this son got a lot of play on the radio, and I was singing like it was my job from the back seat "BALD HEADED WOMANNNN, BALD HEADED WOMAN TO MEEEEEEEE"
