Ans.EARTH WITHOUT TREES

What would the earth look like without trees, have you ever thought about it? Imagine what will happen to all life forms if there are no trees on earth? What will happen when the entire flora of our earth is depleted or destroyed by humanity itself? It gives us goosebumps just thinking about it, but do we really take it that seriously?

According to a study published in a scientific journal, there are more than three trillion trees in the world. Trees have played an important role for ages, providing us with abundant food, wood, shelter and clean air. Every living organism on earth, from the smallest to the giant, needs oxygen to stay alive, and we get that oxygen from trees. Trees also play an important role in maintaining balance in climate change and weather; They help with rainfall and also help control pollution. We have seen it clearly; In places where there are fewer trees, pollution tends to increase.

The survival of living organisms, including humans, will be threatened. And all life forms on earth will perish without trees. When there is no more tree on earth, mankind will suffer terribly. Many animals, birds and rodents would be greatly affected by the destruction of the trees. There will be shortages of food, medicine and a plethora of other natural resources. We cannot imagine the world without the simplest pleasures we enjoy with nature, like a morning walk among the beautiful trees or a park full of trees, the chirping of the birds, picnics in places rich in flora and fauna delights our heart.

So we can see very well that life on earth would be impossible without trees. We should try to do our part to protect the trees as much as possible so that our future generation can also enjoy the benefits that we get from trees.

MAN AGAINST NATURE

"There is something infinitely healing in nature's repeated refrains - the certainty that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter."

Rachel Carson

“For most of history man has had to fight nature to survive; In this century he begins to realize that he must protect it in order to survive.”

Jacques-Yves Cousteau

(Video) Ice Breakers Solutions of Chapter 3.2 Blog Writing | English Yuvakbharati |Maharashtra State Board

Reading the above quotes, we can only have a very good understanding of how deep nature's impact on people is when we understand its true value in our lives. The second quote by Jacques-Yves Cousteau tells the ultimate truth about how humans have struggled with nature and almost led to its extinction for our own survival. We haven't understood the truth that in order to survive as best we can, we must walk hand in hand with nature, not against it.

Man's path to urbanization and modernization has led to extreme destruction of nature and natural resources. There has been a constant and eternal conflict between man and nature for ages, and this tremendous impact on nature and this ongoing conflict is largely due to human action.

Man has carelessly exploited natural resources abundantly since the dawn of human existence, whether for the hunt for food, to dig the earth for natural resources, or even in the name of archaeological study. Man has exploited nature to the utmost. Nature gave us everything, helped and nourished us in every possible way, but man took it too far, so now nature has contradicted its actions and the results are extreme, which is unbearable for humans. Overexploitation and misuse of natural resources have led to natural disasters such as drought, famine, earthquakes, floods and landslides. Man's carelessness and lack of appreciation of nature has also led to the loss of nature.

This conflict now seems endless. The only possible way to end this conflict lies in the hands of humanity. Now we must understand the true value of nature and change ourselves in the way we use or misuse the natural resources and should learn to respect nature so that it continues to nourish us as it always has .

CHILD LABOR: A CURSE ON MANKIND

"There can be no sharper revelation of a society's soul than the way it treats its children."

- Nelson Mandela

Child labor means the employment of children under the age of 14 – 18 in industries, factories, etc. Although child labor is illegal and punishable under government laws, it is widespread in our country and many factories have young children working for them and them wages of the same name are paid, and in many places they are even mistreated. Child labor is truly a shameful thing for humanity. It is a crime against humanity and truthfulness. Child labor leads to the degradation of the country. How a child is treated in a nation shows what the future of that nation will be, as the saying goes, children are the future of every country.

As we say the children are the future of the nation, they should be well educated and sent to school, they should have fun and learn new things, but unfortunately their future is at stake in these factories and industries. Higher rates of poverty and unemployment are some of the main reasons children are forced to do such jobs by force. We are also the reason for this problem. It is mostly seen in countries with a higher population and the poverty rate is also high and it is unfortunate to note that India is such a country and this problem will be widespread unless we try to reduce the population ourselves to control.

Rural people are unable to take care of their children due to poverty, are in need and due to their poor living conditions, they send their children to the cities to work, earn a living and also feed their families. In this tender of learning and enjoying their childhood, they are forced to make money. In larger cities, various factories, like firecrackers, make children work as daily bets, putting their lives on the line. In the cracker industry, they are exposed to dangerous chemicals. We regularly see children even working in dhabas and roadside restaurants and in many places they are abused if they do not work properly. These things should be stopped as soon as possible.

To change this, children should be educated free of charge by the state and given vocational training at the right age so that they can learn to earn a living in the right way at the right age.

A3.) Create a blog writing vocabulary by choosing a specific topic of your choice. You can write about: environment, pollution, education, etc. For example, a word index for an environment-related blog might be: trees, mountains, climate, oxygen, ozone layer, biodiversity, coral reefs, green cover, biodegradable, etc.

(Video) standard 11th English, chapter 3.2 blog writing, exercise.

Ans.Word Index for Blog Writing, Topic – Pollution:

Smoke, carbon dioxide, global warming, breathing difficulties, asthma problems, smoke from factories, water, air, soil pollution, oxygen, ozone depletion, disease, climate change, ultraviolet rays, planting trees.

A4.)Given below are a few topics for blog writing. Discuss and write.

Ans.(1) PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Personality is the combination of traits or qualities that make up a person's distinctive character. It is a perfect blend of a person's physical and psychological development and other characteristics. It also includes the positive as well as negative qualities of the person. Because the comprehensive and appropriate development of our personality begins with the fact that we first understand ourselves. In this blog I will discuss some simple ways that I personally think are important to develop our personality and become a better version of ourselves.

1) Internal and external self-analysis – In order to develop our personality positively, we must first analyze ourselves, find out both the positive and the negative qualities in ourselves and write them down. It is a very helpful task and helps us to get to know ourselves better.

2) Focusing on our positive traits – Once we have noted our positive traits, now we need to write down those positive traits and keep developing them, which will help us to improve our personality more and develop as a better person.

3) Work on our harmful traits - Now that we know both our positive and evil traits and have refreshed our positive traits, we are now confident enough. Now the next most important step is to work on the negative traits that weaken our personality.

We can work on it by being thoughtful and learn to appreciate our personality by being patient. We shouldn't be aggressive. Practicing meditation regularly helps a lot in positively reining in our personality. When we feel that we need help to discuss and get positive advice, we should also seek such help from family, close friends, or by speaking directly to a counselor. Reading good books, acquiring knowledge, helps a lot in the development of the overall personality. as it is rightly called

"A book is a garden, an orchard, a warehouse, a party, by the way, a company, a guide, a multitude of guides."

-Charles Baudelaire

Having a positive personality is not something we can achieve in a day or two. It is an ongoing process that we must invest in and work on so that one day it will shine brightly.

(2)HEALTH AND FITNESS

We've heard the saying that health is wealth many times, and we cannot disagree that our health really is our wealth. But do we really care about our health as much as we care about our wealth? Nothing is more important in our lives than good health. Without a healthy mind and body we cannot remain happy and if we are not happy from within we will certainly not find peace of mind and without these things we will not succeed in life. Good health is a blessing that keeps us optimistic, i.e. happy and prosperous. However, nowadays with the prevailing lifestyle, not many people are able to take care of this wealth, so let's look at what we can all do to maintain a healthy lifestyle and become happy and prosperous.

While it may seem like a tough task, it takes absolutely nothing to stay healthy and fit. We just need to maintain a very healthy lifestyle that includes eating a healthy diet, maintaining hygiene, regular exercise or yoga and meditation. And in all this we need a pragmatic attitude towards life, a person's positive attitude towards life counts the most.

Nowadays, when the market is filled with a variety of junk foods, frozen foods, and processed foods, we need a proper and nutritious diet that keeps us physically fit. Yes, we sometimes feel the urge to eat junk food, but this should be taken in limits and not every day, which will eventually lead to various health problems.

Besides healthy and nutritious food, we also need physical activity such as morning walks or exercise, or I personally believe that yoga and meditation are one of the best ways to keep our body and mind healthy. Regular practice of yoga and meditation reduces stress, which is very common nowadays as adults and children are under extreme work pressure these days. Yoga and meditation also help lower blood sugar levels and various other health issues.

I hope people understand the importance of good health and try to live a healthy lifestyle. Especially the young generation should understand what a blessing it is to have a healthy mind and body and to lead a stress-free life.

(3) SOCIAL DYNAMICS

We humans are social animals. Humans cannot live in lonely places, without society or other social beings, and their actions are heavily influenced by those around them. We are born in a society and grow up according to the society's social structures, customs, values and traditions, and therefore learn those customs and values as we grow up.

Every individual in a society is different, acts and behaves differently. When we interact with other people in society we tend to see new behaviors and therefore decide what is good and bad and what we should and shouldn't cultivate. So social dynamics lies in the behavior of a group that strongly influences other people in a group in a society.

Social dynamics involves the study of the interrelationships of people with one another. It is the study of group behavior that results from the interactions of individual group members, as well as the study of the relationship between individual interactions and group-level behaviors. Two or more people form a group. People in a group interact, share their thoughts, ideas and knowledge. Thus, this exchange of thoughts, knowledge, and ideas brings about changes in the behavior of other social beings. People learn to interact and socialize, and also bring about heterogeneity in their behavior, leading to changes in society.

(4) Communication Skills (5) Self Defense.(Based on the example blogs written above, students try to write the topics themselves.)
